George C. Adler, 70, of 3602 Meadow Ln., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at
his family residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Adler was born Oct. 25, 1898, at Manitowoc, son of the late Adolph and
Augusta Kubish Adler. He was groduated from East High School, Manitowoc, and was
married to Arline Nelson July 24, 1920, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death
April 15, 1966.
He was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., for 42 years and retired March
4, 1964, as a maintenance leader. Mr. Adler was a member of Boilermakers Union
Local 443.
Survivors include two daughters; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Jung, of Chandler,
Ariz.; and two grandsons. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
