EDWARD J. ADAMS

Edward J. Adams, 73, of 516 Fifth St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy family
Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home
and at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude
LeClair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Adams was born in February 1892, at Frankfort, Mich., son of the late Ovid
J. and Lucey Adams.

He married the former Julia Watawa Aug. 7, 1930, at Manitowoc. He worked for
Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co.-White House Milk Division until retiring
about eight years ago. His wife preceded him in death in 1958.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Church.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Liniger and Mrs. Del Z. Williams of
Muskegon, Mich., and Mrs. Olive Bush of Muskegon Heights, Mich.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
