Otelia "Tillie" Adams, age 91, who resided with her son Richard for the
past few years at 1630 Spring St., Appleton, formerly of 414 Huron St.,
Manitowoc, died Tuesday, February 23, 1999, at Appleton Medical Center,
Appleton.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 26, 1999, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated by Rev. William Zimmer with burial at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born October 21, 1907, in Portage County, Wis., daughter of the
late Albert and Antonia Osowska Damask. She married Samuel J. Adams on
October 29, 1934, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He
preceded her in death on March 4, 1981. She was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church and formerly the church's Rosary and Altar Society. She
was also a member and volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul Society.
Survivors include one son, Richard Adams, Appleton; one daughter and
son-in-law, Margaret and Roger Scott, Newport News, Va.; 11
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers and
sisters-in-law, Edmund and Jean Damask, Polonia, Wis., Phil and Dee
Damask, Bonduel, Wis., Michael and Joanne Weizba, Stevens Point; two
sisters, Regina Laska, Stevens Point, Theresa Wroblewski, Cecil, Wis.;
one sister-in-law, Bertha Damask, Wittenberg, Wis.; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband, Samuel in 1981, one daughter, Sister Lawrence (Irene) Adams
SSPS; several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Friday
until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated to the Missionary Sisters of Holy Spirit.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral
