Mrs. Grace Amelia Holmes Adams, age 101 years, passed away Wednesday morning,
November 30, 2005 at Valentine Personal Care Home.

She was born March 19, 1904 at Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Joseph and
Mary Enright Holmes.

On April 9, 1928 she was married to Thomas J. Adams who preceded her in death in
1954.

Surviving is one son Thomas E. Adams of Silver Springs, MD; a daughter Marilyn
M. Wolf of Elkins; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great
great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Adams received numerous citations for service from the Mental Health
Association, Hospice, United Way and was Woman of the Year for Civic Service in
Ft. Pierce, FL.

She was Catholic by faith. At the request of the deceased her remains will be
cremated. Interment of the cremains will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc, WI at a later date. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge
of the arrangements for Grace Amelia Holmes Adams.
