Mrs. Mary Spencer Adams died Tuesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dunning,
Washington street. She was 75.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at St. James Episcopal
church, with the Rev. F. C. St. Clair officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born August 11, 1867, in Derby, England. She came to the United
States at the age of 42, and settled in Sheboygan, where she was married to Samuel
Spencer. In 1931 she became the wife of Thomas Adams, who died two years ago.
In 1935 Mr. and Mrs. Adams moved from Sheboygan to Manitowoc to make their home
with the Dunnings. Mrs. Adams was a member of St. Faith's society at St. James'
Episcopal church.
The remains may be viewed at Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home from 7 o'clock
tonight until 8:30 a.m. Friday, and at the church Friday until 9:45 a.m.
