CLARA ABEL
Miss Clara Abel, 61, of 835 North 9th Street, died Sunday morning
at Holy Family hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services
will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran church, 9th and Pine streets, with the Rev.
Theo. Uetzman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Miss Abel was born in this city on Sept. 17, 1880, a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. August Abel, and spent her entire life in this
city. Survivors are one sister, Miss Ida Abel of this city; one
nephew, Edward Abel of Milwaukee; and one niece, Mrs. Marjorie Pohle,
Milwaukee. The body may be viewed at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schiel
funeral home until 10am Tuesday when it will be moved to the church
to lie in state until 2 o'clock when the casket will be closed.
