"MRS. CARNIBE(sic) DIES"

"Mrs. Ida Carnibe, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Biloxi for the past twenty years, died here this morning at 5:45 o'clock. Deceased was 45 years of age and leaves a husband and several children. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late resident, 619 Washington street. Services will be conducted in the Church of the Nativity and interment will be in the Biloxi cemetery."

"CARNIBE(sic) FUNERAL HELD"

"The funeral of Mrs. Ida Carnibe, who died here Thursday morning, was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the late residence of deceased, 619 Washington street. Services were conducted in the Church of the Nativity by Rev. Father Milot and interment was made in the Biloxi cemetery. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the last rites of deceased, who was a devout member of the Catholic church. J. M. Segui and daughter, Miss Aline Segui, and Mrs. L. Carnibe, all of New Orleans, came to Biloxi to attend the funeral. They will return home Sunday."

"CARD OF THANKS"

"We take this means of thanking all those who were so kind during the illness and death of our wife and mother, Mrs. Ida Carnibe(sic). Especially do we wish to thank Rev. Father Milot, Sisters of Mercy, Dr. George Wallace and for beautiful floral offerings." - F. N. CARNIBE(sic) AND CHILDREN."

Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 11, pg 287: Ida was 41 years, 11 months, 11 days old when she died at Biloxi City Hospital. Both her parents, ? Gilmore and Lizzie Banks, were natives of New Orleans.
