"Mrs. Martha Ann Harbison, a native of Alabama and 67 years old, died at her home at 1318 First Street in the eastern section of this city yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, after a lingering illness. The funeral was conducted from the family residence by Rev. Jordan this morning at 10 o'clock and interment was in the Biloxi cemetery. Mrs. Harbison is survived by three sons and two daughters. She was a respected lady of many splendid traits and her death created profound sorrow among members of her family and her friends."
