Mrs. Tackett was born in Southwest McNairy County near Mosses Creek. She was the oldest & only survivor of the eight children born to Napoleon & Madie Howell Kirk.Mrs. Tackett was a charter member and the oldest living member of Fourth Street Church of Christ.
