BLOOMFIELD - Martha Louise Cox 67, Solsberry, died Saturday afternoon at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1922, in Marco, she was the daughter of Edgar and Sarah Clementine (Dover) Royal. She was a retired employee of RCA in Bloomington, and was a nurse's aide at Hospitality House. She was a member of Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary, and of the Greene County Historical Society. She also wrote articles for the Bloomfield Evening World.
Survivors include her husband (wedding July 19, 1941): Russell Robert Cox; three daughters Anita Hamlin Bloomington, Kathy Arthur, Spencer, and Helen Murley, Solsberry; two sons: Bob Cox and Don Cox, both of Sols-berry; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one half-brother, and one half-sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home, the Rev. Hurschell Joslin and the Rev. Tim English officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services:
