Art T. Jenson was born November 21, 1934 to John and Alice (Larson) Jenson in Omemee, North Dakota. Art moved to the Tri-Cities in 1965 from North Dakota. He passed away October 2, 2010 at Rosie's Adult Home in Kennewick from complications of Parkinson's. Art served in the Army from 1960 to 1962. He was a truck driver until he retired. He belonged to the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul food bank. He was a member of Teamsters Local 839. He enjoyed spending his summers on his farm in North Dakota. He is survived by his wife Marion; children: John Jenson, Janice (Dr. Jeff) Ramirez, Jennifer (Jesse) VanZoelen; grandchildren: Preston, Parker and Peyton; mother-in-law Frances Schmaltz of Rugby, ND; and his dogs Ginger and Cinnamon. Viewing will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00pm with the Rosary at 7:00pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11:00am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Art's name to the Washington State University Veterinary Hospital, P. O. Box 647010, Pullman, WA 99164-7010 or St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, 115 West Lewis Street, Pasco, WA 99301.
