Helen Chittenden
HARRISBURG — Helen Chittenden of Harrisburg died Oct. 1 of ovarian cancer. She was 93. No service is planned.
She was born May 17, 1917, in Nebraska. She married George Chittenden Jr. on May 1, 1939, in Cozad, Neb. He died May 15. 1992.
She graduated from Cozad High School in 1935. She was a homemaker, field worker, cannery worker and retired from American Linen.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Watson of Harrisburg, Susan Brumbelow of Centre, Ala., and Sharon Watenpaugh of Corvallis; two sons, Robert of Conroe, Texas, and Dennis of Harrisburg; a sister, Fae Fochtman of Junction City; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Hospice of Sacred Heart or Harrisburg 4th of July.
