GREENVILLE — Glenn H. Wable, 86, of South Cedar
Street, Greenville, died Sunday, Aug. 30,1987, at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids.
He was born July 18,1901, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son
of John and Elizabeth Finkhouse Wable. A member of
First Baptist Church of Greenville, he was retired from
supervision at Gibson's.
Mr. Wable is survived by his wife, the former Jessie
Diefenbaker; a daughter, Shirley Yingling; a sister, Goldie
Maxfield; a brother, Howard Wable, all of Greenville; six
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Ron Bell
1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Teman Funeral Home, Greenville, with burial in East Montcalm Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the
funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Steeple Fund.
