She was survived by her daughter, Janet W. Britt (Michael); step-son, Claude Walston, Jr. (Carolyn); sister, Bertie Turnage; grandchildren, Blair Muller, Afton Britt, Laurie Scherbekow, David Anderson, III, Joseph Walston and Casey Walston. Her graveside service was held on October 4, 2010, with The Rev. Dr. Philip Deitz officiating.
