New Richland-- John Christian Jacobson, 80, died Monday evening at the farm in Lemond Township where he was born and lived all his lifetime. Death came after a month's illness.
He was a son of the late Peter and Lena "Holte" Jacobson and was born May 18, 1867.
He was a life long member of the LeSueuer River Lutheran church near New Richland. His occupation was farming until his retirement 20 years ago.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 11th at the Tyrholm Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. at the LeSueuer River Lutheran church at 2 p.m., and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a brother, Peter Jacobson, and five sisters;
Mrs. D.D. Hanson of Owatonna
Mrs. Charles Larson of Waseca
Mrs. Henry Larson of St. Paul
Mrs. A.O. Martinson of New Richland
Mrs. John Miller of New Richland.
