Carl H Lorenz, 70 years old, died late Tuesday afternoon, September 24, at the home of his son, Louis Lorenz, on Third avenue south, after an illness of several weeks. Deceased was a native of Germany and was born August 8, 1847. He was a resident of Waseca County form many years before coming to Faribault to make his home several years ago. He leaves to mourn his death one son and two daughters, Louis, of this city, and Mrs. L. E. Reineke and Mrs. A. C. Bahr, both of Waseca. He was a widower, Mrs. Minnie Daisy Lorenz having died five years ago. Services were held from the home of his son and then the body was taken to Blooming Grove and services held in the Bethel German Methodist Church. Burial was in Blooming Grove Cemetery.
