Grave side services for Helen M. Register, 87, of 121 Virginia Avenue, East Dublin, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Kelly Maddox will officiate.
A native of Wheeler County, Mrs. Reister was the daughter of the late Ira Couey and Allie Nolan Anderson Couey, and was the widow of H. F. Register. A resident of Laurens County most of her life, Mrs. Register was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. and was a beautician. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Register died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Survivors include her sister, Geneva "Jack" C. Thompson of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
