OBITUARY APPEARED TUESDAY DECEMBER 4, 1990, Pg A16, The Times, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ. PENNINGTON - John C. Abbott Sr., 67, died Sunday at Home. Born in Harbourton, Mr. Abbot resided in the area most of his life. He was a farmer in the Harbourton area for many years. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church of Pennington, where he served as a deacon and elder. He also was a member of Hopewell Masonic Lodge, F&A.M. Son of the late Walter N. Abbott, he is survived by his wife, Norma L. Abbott; his mother, Olive M. Abbott of Titusville; a son, John C. Abbott Jr. of Pennington; a grandson, Keith Conrad Johnson of Eugene, Ore.; three nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Pennington. The Rev. William McQuoid pastor, will officate. Burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton. There will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the directio of Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, Pennington
