Obituary:
Mrs. Wilma Fishel Essic, 81, of Kernersville passed away September 30, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on October 20, 1928 to the late Robah L. and Pearl E. Fishel. Mrs. Essic graduated from Griffith High School and was a faithful member of Waughtown Baptist Church for 51 years. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, "T" Essic; two daughters, Terry Lindish and husband Ron, and Karen Pissocra; four grandchildren, Logan and Laura Ogle and Joseph and Emily Pissocra. Wilma left behind a loving husband and lifetime best friend and her last wishes were that we not cry for her because she is resting in the loving arms of Jesus. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Charles Fishel and the Rev. Ron Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
