Victor Keller, 73, of Stewardson, died instantly at 9:45 PM Saturday, May 29, 1970, in an auto accident, one mile north of Strasburg.
He was born September 26, 1896, in Shelby County, a son of Jacob and Elizabeth Ramsey Keller. He married Lucille Webb, July 6, 1920, at Charleston.
Mr. Keller was employed as leasing agent for Kingwood Co. of Effingham, for mary years. Later he was self-employed as a Real Estate Broker. He was a member of Stewardson Christian Church,the American Legion Post 611, of Stewardson, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1769, Effingham.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; six sisters, Anna Bartimus, Stewardson, Violet Rentfro, Canoga Park, California, Bessie Vonderheide, Shumway, Dorothy Powell, Brownstown, Jette Mueller, Worden, Montana, Opal French, Sullivan; three brothers, Walter of Strasburg, Clarence and Jesse of Stewardson; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the United Methodist Church in Stewardson, at 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 3, 1970, with Rev. Andrew Procell, officiating.
