OBITUARY APPEARED TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18, 1992, Pg A8, The Times, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ. COLUMBUS -David Wayne Reed, Sr., 54, died Monday in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Columbus, he lived in Mansfield Township all of his life. A retired farmer, Mr. Reed was also a farm machinery dealer with Reed Brothers equipment. He was a member of the Chesterfield Baptist Church and the Franklin Fire Co. of Columbus. Son of the late Elmer and Genevieve Reed, and brother of the late Wallace and Allen Reed Sr., he is survived by his wife, Linda V. White Reed; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl A. Reed, and Tammy and David Winzinger of Columbus; two grandchildren, Chelsea and David Reed III; two sisters, Gertrude Shinn of Jacksonville and Lois Girton of Bordentown; two brothers, Elmer Reed Jr. of Josbtown and James Addison Reed of Crosswicks; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from the Huber Funeral, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown. The Rev. Robert Davidson, pastor of the Chesterfield Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Columbus Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
