For those who knew Kathie best, they knew that she would do anything possible to make sure the people around her were happy. She was a tough cookie, and always spoke her mind. Kathie stood up for herself, and for those who were not strong enough to stand up for themselves. Kathie Phillips was the definition of character, and made sure that her family knew the difference between right and wrong and lived that way everyday. She put her family first, no questions asked. Everything she did was with the utmost sincerity, compassion and grace. Kathie lit up the room with her beauty and her elegance...not to mention her amazing sense of humor. She could lighten the mood of the room with just the sound of her voice. She could spark conversation up with a complete stranger and be their best friend within minutes. Kathie was truly, TRULY...one of a kind.
Kathie Phillips is survived by her husband, Wendell Phillips, 51, and sons, Junu Phillips, 30, Jake Phillips, 23, Zack Phillips, 22, and Nick Phillips, 20.
She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and a great friend to all. We will miss her dearly...
