Bertha Irene JANA, 91, Box 53, Kewanna, died at 1:35 a.m. today at Woodlawn Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born in Darke County, Ohio to Phillip and Eliza SILVERS FEARE. On Sept. 17, 1919 in North Judson she married Albert P. JANA who died in 1971. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Winamac.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline COWLES, Rochester, a son, Virgil JANA, Rochester, six grandchildren and ten great-gandchildren. Preceding in death were a sister and two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester with the Rev. Carl RICKS officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
