Agnes Haimbaugh
Mrs. Agnes [HAIMBAUGH], 79, R.R. 1, Mentone, died unexpectedly at 4:35 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day.
Born Sept. 22, 1894, in Newcastle township, she was the daughter of James and Laura KESSLER VanDORAN. Her marriage was Feb. 22, 1911, to Mack HAIMBAUGH, who preceded in death in 1968. She was a lifetime resident of the Mentone community and a member of the First Baptist church in Mentone and the Pleasant Valley Community club.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Geraldine) HUNTER, R.R. 2, Rochester; Mrs. Albert (Donna Jean) WALTON, Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Gerald (Maxine) YODER, Elkhart; one son, Alonzo "Buddy" HAIMBAUGH, Pinnellas Park, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers preceded in death.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. Junior BOSE will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday until the time of service on Sunday.
