LEANDER B. RADER TAKEN BY DEATH

Leander B. Rader, age 70, died at the home of his son, Arthur Rader, at Elizabeth, W. Va., Sunday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock. Mr. Rader, who was born January 16, 1873, married Susan Sims April 12, 1900, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. William [Kate]Evans, Vienna, W.Va.; Mrs. Clay [Mae] Anderson, Slate, W.Va.; Arthur Rader, Elizabeth, W.Va.; Raymond Rader, who is in the Army Air Corp and station in Dayton, Ohio.

Three brothers, George Rader, Palestine, W.Va.; V. A. Rader, Elizabeth, W.Va.; O. E. Rader, Vienna, W.Va.

One sister, Estelle Sims, Reedy, W.Va., and nine grand-children and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rader has been preceded in death by his wife, one son, Claude, his father and mother, three brothers and two sisters.

He was a member of the Two Runs Baptist Church in Wirt county where he was a lifelong resident. The body is at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Elizabeth. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
