Ella Dean J. Riggen,77,of Milan, MO,died Saturday (Feb. 24, 2001) at Milan Health Care Facility in Milan.
The daughter of William and Margaret (White) Richardson, she was born Sep 2,1923,in Milan.In February 1937 she married Cecil Jackson.On June 28,1958,she married Robert Riggen.
She is survived by four daughters,Barbara Davis of Boynton,MO,Linda Mcdonald of Milan,Elizabeth Cooper of Belton,MO,and Barbara Dean Nickell of Milan;four sons, Douglas Jackson of Marceline,MO,Charles Jackson of Kewanee,IL,Terry Jackson of Mt. Pleasant,IA,and Leland Riggen of Chillicothe,MO;one step-daughter,Sharon Riggen of Kirksville;19 grandchildren;15 step-grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild;and one sister,Mary Watson of East Moline IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband, Robert;one son,Cecil Jackson;three daughters,Joyce Crum, Angela and Rosemary Jackson;and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday (February 27, 2001) at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan.Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. ["Obituary Collection, Adair and Surrounding Counties," found at Adair County Public Library,Kirksville, MO]
