Mrs. Roy M. Cump
Greencastle - Mrs. Elva M. Cump, 85, Kauffman's Station, died Monday evening at 11:30 in the Franklin County Nursing Home, Chambersburg, following a six-month illness.
Born March 19, 1888, near Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late John H and Sarah Carey Hancock, and widow of the late Roy M. Cump. She was a member of the Heidelberg United Church of Christ, Marion, and a member of the Golden Link Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Cump is survived by one grandson, two great-granddaughters, four step children; Mrs. Helen Crist, R.R. 6, Chambersburg; Glenn L. Cump, Greencastle; Paul A Cump, Altoona; nine step-grandchildren, 20 step-great grandchildren, and one step–great-great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs., Susan Kunkleman, Shippensburg.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Minnich-Miller Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Dean M. Bobb Sr in charge. Burial will be in Brown's Mill Cemetery, Kauffman's Station.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service Thursday.
