Zeb Neeley, 83, died Tuesday, Dec. 6,at 4:10 p.m. in Collingsworth General Hospital. Ziliba johnson Neeley was born Jan.12,1905, ln Paris. His parents were W. J. Neeley and Louella Moore Neeley. He came to the Rolla community William 1923 from Caddo, OK. He married Opal Norman on Nov. 30,1934 William Wellington. They moved to Quail that same year from Rolla. He helped to organize the Quail Rural Consolidated school District William the earley 1930's. He was named to the original school board, on which He served for 30 years. He also served on the Collingsworth County schol board for several years. He was a farmer and also managed the Quail gin for a number of years. He was a member of the Primative Church, where He was a Deacon.

Survivors are:his wife, Opal, of Wellington; four sons, Raymond Neeley, And Jack Neeley, both of Wellington, Z.J. Neeley Jr., and Walter Neeley, both of Amarillo; five daughters; Alpha Brock of Portales, NM., Jonnie Handley of Amarillo;Faye Cunningham of Spearman, Joyce Kerstan of Wellington, Fern Jett of Syracuse, Kansas; five sisters: Violet Wood of Glen Rose,Neeley Wood ofMuleshoe, Ruia Norman of Wellington, Virginia Albright of Lubbock, Naomi Brandley of Corpus Christi: a brother, Omer Neeley of Littlefield, 23 grandchiltren: 36 greatgrandchildren, and one great-greatgranddaughter. He was preceded William death by a brother, Lonnie Neeley, a sister, Sue Neeley and two grandsons, Allen Cunningham, and Jackie Brock.
