Catherine Harriet Thomas, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomas, of 612 Long avenue, died Thursday morning, at the family home, of diphtheria. she was 9 years of age, and was a bright and lovable child, whose death brings sorrow to many. In addition to the parents, she leaves a sister, Ethel, aged 12, and three brothers, Walter, aged 7, Albert, aged 5 years, and Edgar, 18 months of age. On account of the nature of the disease that caused death, the funeral was held this afternoon, Rev. J.K. Whippo of Grace M.E. church, officiating. Interment was made in Oak Park cemetery.
