LONG, Beales, 78, Rt. 2, Greenback, died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Blount Memorial Hospital. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Hammontree of Greeneville, Ohio, Mrs. Luther Keener of Richmond, Ind., Mrs. Luke Hammontree, Miss Tennie Marie Long and Miss Chassellee Long of Greenback and Mrs. Bruce Cannon of Maryville; son, Charles of Greenback; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Anderson of Maryville. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Bean and the Rev. Tom Lynch officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services. The body will be taken from McCammon Ammons Funeral Home to the family home this afternoon.
