Mrs. Ophelia P. Edmonds Died In
Claxton Hospital
Mrs. Ophelia P. Edmonds,74,died in the Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton last Friday.
She was a native of Glennville and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, C.B. Edmonds of Glennville; a sister, Mrs. C.J. Hardage of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, T.C. Anderson of Belleview, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Elder W.H. Durrence and Rev. Marcus Rushing. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Julian Dutton, Terry Waters, Charlie Strickland, Curtis Burns, Eugene Purvis, and Gene Dasher.
Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
