It is recently discovered that, His father was actually--probably Wendell Backus. Unknown, fact throughout his life. Wendell was the brother to sister Dorothy and brothers Howard and Sterling. Wendell and Mildred were not ever married. Robert was born 1932 in Seattle, WA. The families were neighbors in Oregon. and the 1910 census shows them as next door neighbors. Brady.s and Backus. As, adults some lived in surroundingTacoma, Seattle, Washington cities. Dna proves that Roberts children are related to Backus not Cameron.
