Until recently, Raney was a long-time resident of Stinnett.
Survivors include his wife Ida; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Naylor, 1206 Campus, Mrs. Ray Gentry, Eklaka, Mon.; one son, Leslie Dean stationed with the Air Force in Fla.; one brother, Alvin of Fairview, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Elva Mae Adcock, Grand Prairie; four grandchildren.
