Rockland---Benjamin Albert Paschal, 70, of Rockland, retired member of the South Braintree post office, died Tuesday at South Shore Hospital, South Weymouth, after a long illness.
Born in (Boston) & educated in Cambridge, he lived in Rockland for 33 years.
Mr Paschal retired from the post office in 1977
A World War II veteran, he was a member of the Abington Post VFW and Rockland DAV. He was also a member of the Rockland Eagles.
Husband of the late Lulu F.(Prentice) Paschal, he is survived by two sons, Sergeant First Class William A. Paschal stationed with the Army in Germany, and Allen (Alan) F. Paschal, a daughter Suzanne Delanis of Rockland, A brother, Robert F. Paschal of Arlington and eight grand children.
