Ambrose B. Buxton, 72, of 645 Schuylkill St. steward at the Antlers Hotel for many years, died yesterday at the Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a life member of Harrisburg Lodge 12 of the Elks.

Mr. Buxton's survivors include his sister, Mrs. Nellie A. Potteiger, Lemoyne, and two brothers, Preston H. Buxton and Clarence A. Buxton, of Harrisburg.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1334 N. Second St. The Rev. Kendig W. Bergstresser, pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penbrook, will officiate. Burial will be in Shoop's Cemetery. Friends may call between 7 and 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
