Died Friday, June 20, 1986, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 71, a native of Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Ethyl Corporation employee, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Barousse. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Survived by wife, Bernice Ainsworth Freeman; two daughters, Shirley Ann Henderson and Barbara Lynn Freeman; a son, Leo Gordon Freeman; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Wisner and Mrs. Zelma Hollingsworth; three brothers, Glenn, Joseph L., and Chester K. Freeman; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two sons, Pete and Leon L. Freeman Jr.
