Robert Gibson Ray, Haysville, 62, died Sunday, March 18, 1927, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Services will be 2 p.m., Thrusday at the Douglass Christian Church, the Rev. Tom Hawks officiating. Burial will be in Douglass Cemetery.
Ray was born Aug. 28, 1927 in Wichita to Clara Ethel Jane Gibson and Byron M. Ray.
On Dec. 25, 1947, he married Marvaline J. Bannon in Winfield.
Survivors include his wife; sons Robin and Arlyn, both of Wichita, and Terrill of Golden, Colo.; daughter Marcy Ray of Haysville; brother Max Eugene Ray of Douglass; a grandchild, Erin Ray of Wichita; and four grandchildren, Cinda Houck of Wichita; and Megan, Joshua and Brenna Swigert of Haysville.
He had been employed with Rays Plumbing and Heating in Haysville and served with the Navy during World War Ii.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Library and the Wichita children's home.
