Died - "STARK - In this city, Aug. 9, Louis Stark, aged 74 years. Funeral from residence, 667 Washington st., Thursday at 2 P.M. Friends invited."

"IMPROVED ORDER OF RED MEN - Members of Willamette tribe, No. 6, are requested to meet at their wigwam Thursday at 1 o'clock P.M., to attend the funeral of our deceased brother L. Stark, from residence, No. 667 Washington Street, Sister tribes are invited to attend. Interment at Lone Fir Cemetery."
