Rosary service for Mrs. Juanita Montez Armendariz, who died Saturday (March 15, 1952) in her home at Loving was recited Saturday evening in the West Funeral Home Chapel.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in the Loving Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Loving Cemetery.
Mrs. Armendariz, a Pecos Valley pioneer, was born in 1868 in Old Mexico and had lived in this area since 1909.
She is survived by eight sons, Fateiro, Antonio and Paz of Pecos, Tex., Martin, Frank and Angel of Loving, Gregoria of Carlsbad, and Dolores of El Paso, one brother, Febrino Calanche of California; one sister, Margarita Calanche, of California; 62 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
