Mr. Alge, who had his own archtectural firm here since 1959, designed addition to Glenwood Junior High Schhool, Lincoln and Washington elementary high schools, and the Donnell Junior High School.
He also designed the Salvation Army citadel, the Knights of Columbus hall, the St. Michael's Chapel of Ease now being completed, and the teen center.
He was graduated from Notre Dame University in 1931 with his degree in architecture. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and its Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, the Elks Lodge, the Rotary Club, and the Findlay Country Club. He was born here.
Surviving are his wife, ursula; a son, robert P., Jr., a student at Eastern New Mexico University; daughters, Mrs. Fred Wright, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Daniel Foote, Portland, Ore.; a brother, edwin, Findlay; a sister, Verna, Findlay, and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church with burial in the church cemetery. The body is in the Miles Mortuary, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow.
