Mrs. Bell, Of Thayer Street Dies This Morn. Grafton Dailey Sentinel. Grafton, WV. Sat., Jan. 13, 1923
Excerpt -- Mrs. Florence Bell, 39, widow of the late Richard Bell, died at 5 a.m. this morning at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Keener, 306 Thayer street, following an illness of heart trouble which had extended over a period of several weeks. The deceased is survived by one son, Prentice Dale Bell; her father and mother, and four sisters, as follows: Mrs. L. D. Snyder, of Fairmont; Mrs. Joe Jenkins, of Coffman; Mrs. A. S. Reese, of this city and Mrs. L. D. Lettman, of Douglas, W.Va. She also leaves three brothers, J. E. Keener, W. H. Keener and C. B. Keener, all of this city. Mrs. Bell was born Sept. 19, 1883, at Thornton. After coming to this city she became a member of the United Brethren Church. Funeral services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the United Brethren Church.

Note: son's name was changed to Prentice Bell Snider (1915-1990), he was most likely adopted after the death of his parents.
