Died, in Douglas township, Tuesday morning February 5, Mrs. William Smith, aged sixty-one years. She was born in Antrim, Ireland and came to America when five years of age. She and her husband came to Madison county thirty years ago. Mrs. Beulah Adams and Mrs. Mamie Clark, of Winterset are her daughters.
Her funeral was held at the residence on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. L. E. Follansbee preached the sermon. She was buried in the McDonald cemetery.
