KERRVILLE - Ella Cleo Lockett Keller, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, known as Mammaw to her family, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, in a local hospital.

Born April 27, 1925, in Content, Texas, to Bettis and Vivian Lockett, Cleo grew up in the Abilene area and married Charles F. (Steve) Keller on Sept. 18, 1942. She lived in Kerrville for the past 30 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of San Angelo, Texas.

Family preceding her in death include her husband, Charles F. Keller; her parents, Bettis and Vivian Lockett; and her brothers, Taylor B. Lockett and John A. Lockett.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Starla Burditt (Dr. John) of Kerrville; a son, Gary L. Keller (Toni) of Roy, Mont.; grandchildren, Shelly Greer (Brett) of Lakeway, Texas, Julie Zuber (Rustin) of Kerrville, Kelly Keller and Steve Keller, both of Roy; great-grandchildren, Megan Greer, Hunter Greer, Nolan Zuber, Will Zuber and Clay Zuber; along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

There will be no visitation.

A private family graveside service will be held with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville.
