Services were today in Greenwood Mortuary for Henry Perkins, 79, of Spring Valley. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. He died Wednesday in a hospital.
Mr. Perkins was a native of Missouri and lived in the county 44 years. He had been superintendent of the San Ysidro School District and was an honorary life member of the San Ysidro PTA. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Mormon Church, was a graduate of Arizona State University and attended San Diego State University.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby; one son, J. Wayne, of Bremerton, Wash.; a brother, Jeff, of Phoenix; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
