Thomas Coleman Kelsey was born September 1,1843, in the state of Ohio. He died May 29, 1934, at the Soldiers and Sailors Home, Milford, Nebraska, aged 90 years, 8 months and 29 days.

Mr. Kelsey served in the Civil War about 4 and 1/2 years and rendered good servie to his country.

He leaves to mourn his departure two sons, Charles A. Kelsey of California; George Kelsey of Elk City, Idaho and one daughter, Mrs.Anna C. Reeves of Portland, Oregon, besides other relatives and friends. Mrs. Reeves was in attendance at the service.

He had lived at the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Milford about 18 years and had many friends in the Home. Mrs. Kelsey died in January 1925.

He united with the Methodist church a number of years ago at Falls City, Nebraska.

The funeral service was held at the Chapel of the Soldiers and Sailors Home Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. B. Hillier in charge. Burial was made in the Blue Mound Cemetery.
