The daughter of Lodovico Leone Umberto Primus and Rosa Pellegrini, Mary was born in Connecticut of Italian ancestry. Later in life after raising her daughters, she was able to visit the homeland of her ancestors in northern Italy. Mary's parents divorced when she was in her teens, her mother passed when she was 19, about the same age as when her older daughters lost Mary.

Mary married Frederick Maximillian Bock who was born Aug 10, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland; he died July 19, 1970 in La Jolla, San Diego County.

Bock, Frederick (Mary) truck driver works Thomaston; resides 482 Broad, Forestville, Bristol, CT.
1955 Bristol Directory, p. 219

The mother of four daughters and grandmother to four, she worked in the Healthcare field for many years. An avid gardener, her front yard was filled with blooms that amazed pedestrians passing by their La Jolla home on the way to La Jolla Cove, a popular beach in San Diego County.

Mary graciously welcomed folks to her home as it always had an open door to family and friends. Her hospitality is dearly missed.
