Mr. Arnsen was a native of Rye, FL, and lived in Dublin, GA, prior to returning to Florida. He was a commercial fishman and served in the US Navy during WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jens Poske and Marie Gurnsey Arnesen, and his wife, Allene Pope Arnesen.
Survivors include his children, Jan West, Cochran, Jean Hudson and Jens Steve Arnesen, New Port Richey, Julie Bailry, Macon, Kathy O'Quinn, Hudson, FL., Debra Hughes, Virginia, and David Arnesen, Louisiana; one sistetr, Ruth Roberts, Tampa, FL; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County, with Rev. Dahl McDermitt officiating.
Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton was in charge of arrangements.
