Mrs. Ogg Was Buried July 3rd

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosemary James Ogg, 81, were held Thursday, July 3rd, at 3 o'clock from the chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home. The Rev. Chuck McCrackin officiated and interment was in the Macedonia Church cemetery. Mrs. Ogg died Tuesday, July 1st, at Westbury Medical Care Home following a lengthy period of declining health. Pallbearers were Buster Brown, J. O. King, Sam Smith, John Robert Pulliam, J. W. Pulliam, Ted Norris.

A native of Butts County, she was daughter of the late William T. James and the late Eulalia Thaxton James. She was a retired beautician and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Fannie Norris and Mrs. Gladys Maddox, both of Jackson and Mrs. Virginia Watkins of Cleveland, Ohio; four brothers; Paul James of Flovilla, Archie James of College Park, Raleigh James of Decatur, Warren James of Jamestown, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
