Michael Joseph Kelly, foreman of the maintenance department of the Thermal Equipment Corporation, 280 East Third Street, this city, and a volunteer member of Engine 5, Mount Vernon Fire Department, died yesterday at his home, 540 East Third Street at the age of fifty.
Born in Pelham, son of the late Michael and Ellen Ford Kelly, he lived in Mount Vernon for 48 years and was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart.
He leaves his wife, Mrs Helen Louise Fosbury Kelly; a son, Michael J. Jr., of this city; a daughter, Mrs. William H. Kettner, New Rochelle; a brother, Edward J. Mount Vernon; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Dehan of Harrison, Mrs. Frederick Steffes of Mamaroneck, Mrs. Anna Pyne of the Bronx, and Mrs. Stanley Kershaw of Illinois, and one grandchild.
