Miss Verona Elsie McGinity passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Loveta Herring, 90 Arthur Street, Tuesday night at 9:30 o'clock, following a six week's illness.

Funeral services will be held the Chapel of the Norman Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by the Reverand David K Pegues. Burial will be made in Burnside Cemetery near Avalon.

Miss McGinity was taken ill six weeks ago and was broguht from her home near Sampsel to the home of her sister for medical care.

Daughter of Melvin and Maggie McGinity and was born March 11, 1905 in Fairview Township. Besides her parents she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Iris Livingston, and Mrs. Loveta Herring of this city; Miss Thelma McGinity of the home and Cletus McGinity of the Armed Forces, who is now home on a 90 day furlough. He recently return from Germany. Miss McGinity was preceded in death by a brother, Elton McGinity.
